Have you always wanted to be a writer?
When I was a little girl, I would write poems and little stories. My mom would save them and we’d laugh about then as I grew older, but I’m not sure where they ended up.
What does success mean to you? What is the definition of success?
Success is doing what the Lord wants me to do and He orders the rest of my life. Allowing Him that control means the pressure is off of me as He takes care of me so very well!
Who has been the biggest supporter of your writing?
My husband is the one that pushed me to finally publish my books. I wouldn’t have ever done it without his gentle encouragement and prodding!
How many books have you written?
Currently, I have 20 books released…all Christian Romance Small Rural town fiction. Five are historical, the rest are contemporary.
What is the title of your newest release?
I just released, When I Found You…here’s the blurb:
She never planned to stay. He never planned to love again.
Shellby is sunshine with scars she won’t show.
I’m just trying to raise my little girl without losing what’s left of me.
We’re opposites in almost every way—except in how much we’ve lost.
But healing has a way of sneaking in when you’re not looking.
And sometimes the best beginnings come after goodbye.

What are the words you live by?
When the Lord is at the center of my life, the pieces settle where they belong, and success follows with peace
What is your favorite quote from your book?
I typically use God’s Word throughout my books. One of my favorite verses to base a book on is Ps. 68:19, “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah”
